Hello

I'm Aisha Woods, serving as the Chief Finance Officer for Black Rainbow Movement. My connection with the queer community began in middle school, where I became a safe space for those seeking acceptance. That commitment to advocacy remains steadfast today, as I continue to fight for their right to authenticity.

My Story

In the tapestry of my life, laughter and love are the threads that bind me. Finding my path on the stage, I've embraced the role of a stand-up comedian. From the dynamic COMEDY QUEENS showcase at Barking Legs Theatre to the vibrant setting of Chattanooga Pride 2019, I've shared my gift of humor with diverse audiences, leaving smiles in my wake.

One of my memorable moments unfolded on the stage at The Experience in The Palace Theatre, where I had the audience roaring with laughter, creating indelible memories for all. Another highlight was my participation in the Black Girl Magic showcase at Stone Cup, celebrating the resilience and beauty of black women through the power of comedy.

Beyond the spotlight, I've also had the privilege of hosting for The Figurines Burlesque troupe at ShudderCon, infusing humor into their captivating performances and adding my unique flair to the event.

Standing steadfastly beside my brother, Garrell Woods-Trinity, the visionary founder and executive director of Black Rainbow Movement, I've been an unwavering pillar of support. My commitment to his noble cause has contributed to the growth and success of Black Rainbow Movement.

With laughter as my compass and love as my guide, I continue to journey forward, seeking to uplift and inspire others through the power of humor and compassion.
