I'm Damien Chaney, and I serve as the Director of Outreach for Black Rainbow Movement. I'm a driven creative with a competitive spirit, placing great importance on fostering relationships, clear communication, and a strong work ethic. My diverse skill set spans from corporate sales to costume design and choreography, all of which I proudly leverage to contribute to the advancement of Black Rainbow Movement's mission.
My Story
My name is Damien Chaney, and my journey is one of artistry and vision. From the vibrant stages of the Pop-Up Project to the pulsating beats of the COMMIX Dance Crew, I've woven dance, choreography, and costume design into a seamless expression of creativity.
As a founding member of the COMMIX Dance Crew, I've had the privilege of showcasing my talents alongside luminaries like Eva Marcille at V4W's 2017 Spring Fashion show. My artistic influence extends to the Juba Dance Ensemble, a cornerstone of The Festival of Black Arts & Ideas, where I've served as both choreographer and costume designer.
In my role as Founder & CEO of Kyle Concepts, I've orchestrated captivating choreography, creative direction, and production for events like The Rampant Hair Expo. My dynamic presence also extends to the music scene, where I've lent my talents to music videos for renowned artists like Adam Mac & Jenna DeVries, Jessica Nicole Brown, and Dameka Rochelle.
As a principal dancer in the esteemed company founded by choreographer Bernadette Upton, I've embodied the fusion of vision, art, and performance. Recently, I've embarked on an exciting journey collaborating with social media influencer Jake Jonez, leveraging his vast reach of followers - 424.2K on TikTok and 263K on Instagram - to amplify our message.
