Ballroom judges must be accomplished in their fields and a firm opinion while maintaining a profound respect for the culture of ballroom. We are privileged to work with three distinguished individuals with extensive credentials in the performing arts, fashion, and entertainment industries. These judges play a pivotal role as recurring advisors, offering invaluable insights and expertise. To ensure a diverse range of perspectives, we rotate the final judge's seat, providing fresh viewpoints with each event.

Crystal Newson
Crystal's artistic journey reflects a blend of talent, dedication, and creative brilliance. Graduating from the esteemed Chattanooga Center for Creative Arts, Crystal swiftly rose as a principal dancer in Project Motion, showcasing her exceptional skills on stage.
Her choreographic prowess extends to various productions, from dynamic numbers in CCA's "9-to-5: The Musical" to the Chattanooga Theatre Centre's HIT rendition of "Ain't Misbehavin'". Crystal's choreography breathes life into each performance, leaving a lasting impression on audiences.
Beyond the stage, Crystal's influence is felt in music videos, including appearances in Lewi Harrison's "Unsteady Ground" and DJ Heart's "Oakland, Japan", where her captivating performances captivate viewers.
Crystal's dedication to dance education shines through her role as an instructor at the D. Williams Dance Academy and her leadership in the Hips & Heels Dance class.
In addition to her recent choreography for The Chattanooga Theatre Centre's HIT production of "Ain't Misbehavin'", Crystal also lent her choreographic expertise to CCA's production of "GODSPELL". These achievements underscore her ongoing commitment to pushing the boundaries of dance and creativity.
